This package includes varieties of perennials that are easy to establish and will bring all your favorite butterflies, bees and beneficial insects into your growing space. These are first year starters grown from seeds collected from Little Waldo Farm's pollinator gardens. These plants also show reliable resistance to deer predation.
4 pk - Monarda Bee Balm (Monarda fistulosa) Lavender colored blooms on 2 -3 foot stems. A favorite of hummingbirds and bumblebees
4 pk - Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) - 2-3 foot tall compact plants with multiple clusters of pink blooms. Will bring in Monarch butterflies as a favorite host plant.
2 - 2" pots Giant Hyssop (Agastache urticifolia) 5 Foot tall plants full of purple spikes that attract hummingbirds, butterflies and many native bee species.
2 - 2" pots Blue Vervain (Verbena hastata) - 5 foot tall plants with candelabra-like purple, lavender blooms that attracts many smaller native bee species and the seeds are a favorite of many bird species.
1 - 2" pot Wild Indigo (Baptisia australis) Long-lived shrub sized native with bright blue lupine-like blooms sure to attract many pollinators.
Beginner Pollinator Garden Package (Full Sun)
Plants are available for pick-up no sooner than May 22nd. This is to ensure proper growth and acclimation to the outdoor growing environment. You will receive an email to confirm your purchase and coordinate a pick-up time and location. Plants can be picked up at Little Waldo Farm, Two Harbors Farmers Market, and local delivery can be an option for those in need.
