Extreme weather has been making a larger impact on society and in our environments. It has become ever more important to create strategies and work our lands in ways that these events will have less of a negative effect. Knowing how to find and communicate with your loved ones when technology is unavailable to aid us is one thing we all can prepare for. It is also something to consider when evaluating how your living quarters will function if their were to be an energy crisis. Having a plan is only the first step in addressing an issue we all could face in the future.
